PolyNome: THE Metronome App Reviews

This is the second metronome app Ive purchased for my iPhone. Since installing it, I havent once had the desire to revisit the other app. Joe has put together the ultimate musicians tool for learning and practicing. Ive barely scratched the surface of all the incredibly powerful features contained within, but those Ive used are very impressive. I look forward to continuing to learn this app, and relish each update.

Best metronome app EVER!!!! It has everything you would want and MORE!! This will not only help your timing, but it will help your displacements, accents, rudiments etc. I have the 8.99 version but I think I may have to buy the PRO version. Good job Joe.

Still an excellent, powerful metronome, that Joe always is updating. So many features and Joe always responds to any questions. Lots of support and tutorials on website, and many helps built right into the app.

This metronome is unbelievable and the developer, Joe, will fix any bug you tell him about!

Professional rehearsal ability with real world practice routines

I love this app...great features. This is a great way to practice your polyrhythms. It is also great way to also check your rhythms and note values.

Useful features. Three visual points which are great for anyone using this in a studio or live setting. You can float the beat and still check your timing from three separate visuals. Highly recommended by HansenJazz.com

Im still learning how to use this incredible app. Then I will continue enjoying and playing with, and learning more of the ways this app is helping me to play. I wish Our generation could have had things like this as a child. A lucky few got access to a talented human being. Most didnt I think. A great piece of equipment this is!

When I went looking for a metronome app I had no idea so much could be done with one. PolyNome is, in a word, awesome. It deserves every star available.

The metronome is a very pleasant surprise. It seems intimidating at first, but it is very easy to begin using it as a simple metronome, and then exploring its vast functionality almost immediately thereafter.

I am not a drummer but an acoustic folk musician so I was hesitant about purchasing the app. Glad I did. Much more engaging than the click-click-click of a standard metronome. Able to replicate grooves and work on timing. Highly recommend.

I show and recommend this app to all my drum students. Why? Because not only is this app the best, but also the tech-support is the best !!! You can do anything with this app. It helps you to read as well as hear the rhythms exactly the way theyre supposed to sound. This is the best metronome on the market by far!

Excellent on all fronts! This application is extremely powerful and very deep. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth it. You can create exercises for yourself, a whole practice regimen, tempo ranges, and map all of your progress. Thanks you!

I dont really consider this app a metronome (though it clearly is), rather: its a new breed of drum machine, notation tool, rhythm coach, and budding social network for drummers—and likely much more come future updates. Youd be hard-pressed to not get what you want from this app, and there are simply are no rivals in the running.

Cant praise this app highly enough. Its transformed the way I think about and play music. Download it immediately!

Awesome met. It would be cool if you could set accents for both lines of both metronomes. Other than that, Ive started to use this metronome exclusively.
